About Us


Francie Olson, owner, instructor and trainer has over 45 years of experience in horse care, training, showing and developing riders of all ages.

Francie started riding and showing in Grand Rapids at 5 under Mary Ann Cram and Vermont under Colonel Ralph Symmes of Skidmore College. She continued her training under top national trainers from California to the East Coast in hunter, jumpers, equitation and dressage.

After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Animal Science and Nutrition she went on to be a professional in California and then was the director of equine studies at the University of Colorado before she moved to Arizona and returned to Colorado in 2005.

Francie and her students have enjoyed tremendous success from local shows to A show level winning year end state and USEF zone awards.

She is known for her classic style, horsemanship and attention to details.



Laura has been training and showing horses at HD Ranch since 2008 and comes by the way of Chicago where she rode, trained and showed for prominent hunter jumper trainer: Jeanine Lamb-Hugo, Diane Carne and Dana Link. Laura has successfully trained many horse from just starting to the A show level. Laura is a kind and patient rider allowing the horse to develop with much confidence.
